This weekend I realized May will be the first month I haven’t run at least 100 miles.
I took six days off to recover from the marathon and my longest runs have only been 10 miles so this isn’t surprising. But that doesn’t mean I don’t feel weird about it.

It’s totally weirding me out. I’ve added 2 miles to the 10 I had planned for this Sunday and if I follow my schedule perfectly I should hit 100 miles. Just barely.
I’m not training for anything and my next race will be a 10k near the end of June. In the grand scheme of things this doesn’t really matter. But it kinda totally matters to me. Am I being silly?
On a positive note, this just might be the motivation I need to transition to 5 days of running. I always bail on Wednesday runs but if I want to get to 100 miles I’m going to have to do it. So you know, at least there’s that.
